The heavy silver plate platter is ornate with frosted Lucite carved horn-shaped handles. This superb modernist design was created by this German-origin company located in Brazil.
The German silversmiths Wolff of Pforzheim opened a branch in Brazil in 1929, named Wolffmetal, to produce items for the South American market. The company still exists today.
The centerpiece is in good condition with minor micro-scratches expected from previous use, but they do not significantly affect the overall appearance.
