An English majolica glazed bread tray made by Adams & Bromley, circa 1875.
An oval tray with a rolled rim brown border showing a motto molded in raised lettering, ‘Eat Thy Bread With Thankfulness.’
The center shows a pink geranium with green leaves on a yellow basket weave ground.
Green glazed scrolled handles at either end.
Incredible color! Just a beautiful majolica tray.
The verso is finished in a sponged brown glazing.
13 in. L x 11 in. W x 1.5 in. H
In very good antique condition, a small older nip to the footing, not affecting the seating of the tray.
