An elegant Baccarat art glass vintage paperweight handcrafted in France in 1979. The limited edition design consists of a double overlay of pale blue over white enclosing a close concentric millefiori mushroom on a clear ground. The mushroom consists of complex millefiori canes in shades of pink, yellow, blue and white, drawn into a tapering pink and white stem. The weight has one top and five side facets. The flat, polished base bears two acid-etched Baccarat insignia marks and the edition number 143. "B 1979" signature / date cane. Very good condition with a few small and minor scratches on base, measuring 3.13 in diameter.
