The narrow size of this original pastel on paper would add some needed style to a small space. The soft hued colors of pinks, blues, yellows and white on an off-white paper background with a deckled edge and are serene. This style could easily transition from a contemporary or coastal dwelling. The piece is unsigned, however, my sources states it's from a collection of works by late artist, Jane Matteson. The piece is somewhere between 50 - 70 years old. If you love pastel art or lend toward the abstract style, then make this a original a "keeper" in your home.
