The print is by the world famous Belgian Surrealist artist Rene Francois Ghislain Magritte ( 1898 - 1967 ). He became well known for creating witty and thought provoking images. Often depicting objects in an unusual context. His work is known for challenging observers' preconditioned perceptions of reality. The imagery of Magritte has influenced Pop, Minimalist, and Conceptual Art. Art works by Magritte are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The vintage lithograph print features an untitled ( " Sans Titre " ) artwork originally created by Magritte in 1962. The print is printed in 1974 in Japan. It is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called " Tipping " where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. This print is suitable for framing.

The print image measures 7 1/4" W X 10 1/4" H, on a page that is 9 1/8" W X 12 1/4" H. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image.
