A very nice Victorian era edition of Jo's Boys by Louisa May Alcott, this antique book has a frontispiece portrait of the author, floral endpapers, a silk ribbon bookmark between pages 126 and 127, and a charming illustrated advertising section at the back for additional books for young readers.
The 19th-century vintage book shows wear consistent with its age and use including toning to the pages and some dings and scratches on the cover. There is handwritten notation at the front,"Christmas 1895."
