It retains glass … more This is a wonderful smaller antique apothecary chest with 12 drawers. It is in mahogany, circa 1850. It retains glass knobs and several of the reverse painted mirror labels. It is believed to be English in origin. The construction is nice, with old dovetails. Also, feet have been added at a later date, but i still feel 100 years old. The smaller size of this piece makes it very versatile, as an end table or on top of a table. There are nine of the glass tags and one more missing a piece. They will be attached before shipping. less
