Rectangular top … more George III, late Georgian, chippendale style, period, 1770-1790, english mahogany architect or draftsman table, in unusual pembroke form. Rectangular top featuring barber pole inlay, with 2 drop leaves with rounded corners, hinged center section lifting to an adjustable easel, above a frieze fitted with faux drawer to one end & opposite end pulling out to reveal an adjustable easel with leather surface, this slides back to reveal access to several lidded & divided compartments, sliding candle supports to either side, table is raised on chamfered square, Marlborough legs, joined by an x form stretcher, terminating in what appear to be the original, period casters.
