Attractive antique Chinese rosewood stool, plant stand or pedestal with inset rose pink/beige marble round top. The dark brown wood compliments the color of the marble nicely. The piece features an attractive hand-carved apron that is unusually shaped with 'horseshoe' type links, and is also intricately carved and pierced with prunus flowers.
Attractive beaded edged top and clawed feet support this wider than the average piece. The elegantly shaped cabriole legs are connected by stretchers. Used for display of incense burners, vases, ferns, lamps, or statues. Or as a small side or drinks table.
