I lost this painting at a country auction about 2 years ago and had thought about it since I did not get it. Then I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to purchase it again from the person I lost it to and was not going to miss it this time. This is a wonderful early work by Chantale Jean. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included her biography below. This is a wonderful early work by the artist. Pastel on paper measuring 16 x 20 inches. Signed lower left. Pastel is in outstanding condition with great original vibrant colors. Really a stunning work. Original matte and frame are complimentary and ready to hang. On the back of the frame is the artist's signature, date and title in magic marker. Really a great presentation. Frame measures 25 3/4 x 29 3/4 inches.
