There are a few edge tears that look like they were repaired and a few small soiling spots but overall it is really stunning. This is one of those prints I am happy to have purchased and happy to own until someone decides to purchase it. It is just a wonderful historic original hand colored engraving, and truthfully, this is probably the best example of this print, I have been able to find. This is one of 2 images done by Salathe after paintings by Sebron of Niagara Falls. From what I can tell, this is the more rare one as the auction records I have found are mostly for the other one. I have found one example of this print for sale in a high end print shop for more than 7 times what I am asking ($7000!!!!). This is a wonderful large print with the image measuring 23 1/2 x 37 inches. Outstanding condition. I have not taken it out of the frame but as you can see by the archival matte and frame, there are still ample margins. Strong original hand coloring.
