A bronze cross from the Byzantine Era set in a spectacular 21K setting (is stamped). This bronze cross was created by lost wax casting and decorations were likely hand chiseled. This authentic Byzantine cross has had a custom 21K gold setting created for it; the back is completely protected by gold and will be comfortable against skin. The edges of the hand crafted decoration along the perimeter of the cross is absolutely spectacular - a true statement piece! The Byzantine Era ran from the 300s to the fall of Constantinople and the Eastern Roman Empire in the 1450's, at which time, the area fell to the Ottoman Empire. less
