This antique over-mantle mirror from France is … more A large-sized, French carved-wood mirror, with its original glass, from the 19th century. This antique over-mantle mirror from France is set within a rectangular-shaped frame, with stack-molded trim at top rail, and a sweetly carved repeating floral pattern at underside, with a relief-carved shell set prominently at center above the glass, within a lovely display of scrolling acanthus leaves. The glass mirror is original, with signs of foxing along bottom (see photos for more detail). This 19th century French mirror, with floral and shell carved motif, is just over 5 feet in height, and just over 4 feet wide. less
