Le Sourire or "the Smile" was a French satirical journal that featured erotic and humorous artwork by a variety of talented French illustrators. The artwork was considered risqué and even erotic. It was published in Paris on the Boulevard Saint-Germain. The journal first appeared in1899 and ran until the final year of the Great War.
