Each hook has two catches, one for coats, one for hats, scarves etc. The coat rack is structurally sound, sturdy, and very stable, the faux wood brown paint finish shows significant wear and loss at the base, please see images.
Constructed to commercial standards, this piece will withstand regular and heavy use.
Mid 20th century vintage, possibly made by Globe Wernicke, General Fireproofing Co. , or Good Form, unsigned.
