- An early 19th century Swedish gilded mirror, circa 1820. This mirror features an arched crest and flanking fluted half columns. … more An early 19th century Swedish gilded mirror, circa 1820. This mirror features an arched crest and flanking fluted half columns. There are two lion carvings above each column. Within the arch there is a decoration reminiscent of a flower or a sunburst. Adorning the bottom of the mirror is a diamond motif with stylized foliage sprouting from either side. This mirror is a lovely gold color all around with beautiful aging throughout. This antique Swedish piece would be perfect in a tall, slender place, such as the end of a hallway, a bathroom or perhaps above a short chest. less
