Description: We are selling this great Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer box. This Imperial quality rectangular box is probably 19th century. The … more We are selling this great Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer box. This Imperial quality rectangular box is probably 19th century. The lacquer is extremely deeply carved, appears to be ¼ of an inch deep, in tri-color lacquer with green and mustard yellow below the red. The top of the box is carved with ‘Chun’ character with peaches and Buddhist figure representing spring. Sides have simple floral scroll.

Condition: Top is in good condition, sides of the box have several damages and some losses.
