A Swedish 19th century painted wood floor clock with pedestal style base flanked with column accents. This antique clock from Sweden features pronounced volutes carved at both sides of it's head, a lyre-shaped body and rectangular base flanked by two stylized Corinthian columns. The color of this clock is a vibrant white. Some original wood is visible through the white paint. The trim and motifs are of a light shade of green-grey. This clock has words written on the inside of its door as well as the date 1900, probably added at a later date.
Though it retains it's original face and movement, it is not currently in working condition. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement. less
