Birds, swallows and sparrows figure greatly in Lalique pieces, on vases, which usually are in 3-dimentiosnal format, offset or in relief from the main body of a vessel or vase, including pendent or chandelier lighting. Along with the the mythological female, nymphs or nymphettes, female nudes and the like, as well as other animals. There is an effervescence and an ethereal quality to a Lalique piece, followed by and before to quality and craftsmanship, which has made Lalique, much coveted, worthy of inclusion into anyone's collections , or interior domain, given the presence of such pieces, small or large.
