Gorgeous mid century walnut media cabinet with tambour doors on a plinth base from the 1950s. This piece is unmarked but similar to the Kipp Stewart and Barney Flagg designs for Drexel with tambour doors. The plinth base in my opinion makes this piece extra special as it is quite rare. There is one removable plywood shelf inside. This cabinet could be used as a media console, TV stand, record cabinet or just about anything. This exceptional piece will look good whatever to use it for.

- Top surface has a few rings and top front edge has a chip (see photos detailing these flaws). Left side … moreTop surface has a few rings and top front edge has a chip (see photos detailing these flaws). Left side panel has prominent splattered dark spots, possibly wood finish stain spots that didn't get wiped off. There's a thin sheet of wood covering the bottom of the cabinet on the inside that has some separated a bit towards the back but this is minor and not structural. Back cover has separated from the cabinet on the bottom and should be nailed or stapled back and again this is minor and not structural. The two handles are rotatable and I'm not sure if that how they were designed or if they just need to be tightened. less
