This is really one of the prettiest pieces of furniture I have come across in all my years of treasure hunting. We reupholstered it in a soft teal so you can add any types of pillows you like, or get it redone in your own choice of fabric. This is a very special piece and everyone here at our studio is in love with this. It's very sturdy and well made but has such a beautiful rustic look. We didn't dare touch the wonderful patina and natural distressing even though painting furniture is our main love here. We were told this is late 18th century or early 19th century and Swedish in origin. It would look great in a French Country home as well. We just think it's spectacular. See less
