Iconic Mid Century Modern Vladimir Kagan serpentine cloud sofa for Directional, USA circa 1970's. This highly collectable and desirable modern designer sofa features original blue Ultrasuede upholstery, cylindrical plinth pedestal bases, and a center support of transparent Lucite, creating a floating illusion. The curved biomorphic kidney-shaped silhouette is a hallmark of Kagan’s innovative designs. Vladimir Kagan is considered one of the most prolific designers of the twentieth century who attracted many high-profile clients, including Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol.
