Revere Company Art Deco Brass and Walnut Bookend Designed by Fred D. Farr.
Description: Original 1930's, 'Twin-Scroll' Brass and Walnut bookend, in beautiful Vintage condition. This book scroll was designed for Revere metal company in 1935 by Fred Farr.
Condition: Entire unit is in superb Vintage condition, no surface corrosion or rust, nor dents and crazing of the wood finish. As expected, there are surface scratches that effect the brass (negligible), and the wood has some minor finish loss along one side that rests against a brass scroll, otherwise fine. Original 'spiral' attachment nails under the bottom plate felt still holding solidly, slight movement. Original green felt still in great condition.
