Long ago, this antique chromolithograph Hood's Sarsaparilla Rainy Day Puzzle advertisement was carefully mounted onto wooden custom-made jigsaw pieces. The craftsman also made a custom wooden puzzle tray to hold the vintage puzzle.
A wonderful combination of antique advertising and vintage craftsmanship, the Victorian era puzzle would make an eclectic home decor accent in a den, man cave, or game room.
The industrial graphics is quite amazing with a Hood's Sarsaparilla factory in full operation and a horse drawn delivery coach.
The chromolithograph ad is in good condition showing age appropriate wear and signs of the passage of time.
The wooden puzzle tray shows wear with dings, scratches and obvious wear on the corners.
There are 23 puzzle pieces in the tray.
The tray measures approximately 16" x 11" x 1 1/4".
The puzzle measures approximately 14 3/4" x 9 3/4"
