The desk is made of walnut and pine and has a single drawer with all the traits one expects from fine antique Italian furniture such as age checking, painted finish losses, minor warpage of the top. The desk is painted in a faux rosewood finish with faux banding and ram's heads. The drawer has a beautiful brass urn and ring pull and garlands painted around the desk with a scene on top the desk surface showing what appears to be figures wrestling or fighting. Measures 30.75 tall x 37 wide x 24.25 and dates to the 1760s era. See less
