Here I have this large fajance vase from Royal Copenhagen for you. The famous porcelain manufacturer Royal Copenhagen has been producing high-quality porcelain since 1775. This vase with the serial number 207/2967 was designed by the artist Berte Jessen. Artist Berte Jessen was one of the artists Nils Thorsson brought to Royal Copenhagen in the late 1950s to give the company a new, highly artistic direction. This reorientation should ensure that Royal Copenhagen received the greatest international attention in the 1960s and 70s. The extremely rare vase with its elaborate floral design bears witness to this era and is a wonderful addition to your home.
A lovely Tenera vase, Mid-Century Modern, created by Berte Jessen for Royal Copenhagen. This vase is part of the Tenera line. Tenera was created in one of the Royal Copenhagen's workshops. Six young girls from Norway, Sweden and Denmark, handpicked by Nils Thorsson, created a series of individual faience pieces that are known worldwide to this day. This tall vase is 10 inches high and is 3 3/4th inches in diameter, both top and bottom. The diameter of the vase narrow from the bottom up to the top where a dark blue rim expands it back to the original dimension. The white background features an abstract flower in shades of blue and brown. On the bottom the vase is marked with the RC logo, the production number, 207/2967, the initials BJ for Berte Jesse and the painter's mark. The vase is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.

Rare and hard to find, this beautiful tall Danish Modern ceramic flower vase is from the famous “Tenera Collection” and features a cylindrical silhouette with hand-painted abstract blossoms and foliage in shades of blue, purple and green. The bottom is fully hallmarked with the capital W and three wavy lines (the mark for Aluminia) and DENMARK along with the cypher BJ (for designer Berte Jessen ), decorator's initial. less
