This Silverplated Art Deco Cocktail Shaker Set is an Art Deco bar cart show stopper. It is a "married" set that took a year to find and combine complementary elements to create a gorgeous cocktail set. The smoothlined, sensuous Poole Cocktail Shaker holds 4 Qts of adult beverages and is completed by 6 silverplated Champagne Cups made by the Grand Silver Co and set on a silvertoned Mirrored Tray w/ a Greek-key design.

POOLE MARTINI SHAKER, (4Qt):
Operating out of Taunton, Massachusetts, the Poole Silver Company was established by George Poole and Edward Roche. Initially, the firm did business under the name of Poole, Roche & Co. This manufacturer of sterling silver, electroplated nickel silver, and silver plate was incorporated on May 21 of 1895.
In 1900, Poole’s workshop consisted of a two-room miniature factory located at 106 Whittenton Street. Some years after that, the business expanded and subsequently relocated to nearby 320 Whittenton Street.
Poole added sterling silver to its repertoire in 1946, from which material it manufactured cutlery, flatware, and hollowware.
American silver manufacturer Towle Silversmiths acquired Poole Silver Co. in 1971. At the time of writing, Lifetime Brands is the owner of the Poole Silver Co. trademark.
SET of 6 SILVERPLATED CUPS, (Grand Silver Co.):
The Glasses are signed "Grand Silver co" & "Wear Brite" under the base. The company was founded in 1910 in New York City with talented metal artisans producing luxury goods. The company survived the great depression and continued to prosper well into the late 20th century. This is one of the companies earliest stamped marks, easily identified from the later marks which contain a circle in the center of the stamp. less
