Attention collectors!

Rarely found in this outstanding overall original condition, they would be nearly a ‘9’ or a ‘10’ if not for 3 very small imperfections. See photos.

We really fell for these; mostly due to their combination of colors/options and of course the great condition.

Pinpointing.the date of production for these is not an exact science but we firmly believe they are late 1960s which is the beginning of the so called 2nd generation of this model DSX (standard dining fiberglass shell chair).

We believe the fiberglass shell color to be ‘Greige’. The Naugahyde upholstery color is possibly ‘Ochre Light’. The Vinyl edging color is ‘Charcoal’. And the tubular steel base is enamel black.

They just really have a great look to us.(compared to the hundreds of these we have seen over the years).

Regarding both chairs:
— The upholstery including the foam is still soft and supple.
— The edging is perfectly intact.
—The bases/shock mounts/glides all function as designed with no issues.
—Both have the Herman Miller logo/name stamped into the fiberglass undersides.
— ready for use and really comfortable.
—collector quality examples.

This pair of Eames chairs is in overall very nice condition. There are 3 very small blemishes to the seat material shown in the photos as well as the occasional scuff. The black enameled bases show some typical light wear from use with minor losses to the finish and some scattered rubs of paint transfer. less
