Who but the French might turn a lowly serving tray into a work of art (well, the Italians, for one).
And what better place to display your fine art than under a group of martini glasses brought into the room where your company awaits?
The artist? Well, I often have trouble reading my own signature, let alone most French signatures. It appears to be something along the lines of M. Gue.....
What looks like glass nestled into each handle is actually the wood itself, given an esoteric treatment to resemble etched glass.
Measurements: 19 1/2 wide by 9, standing an inch and 5/8. One small chip to the glass, on the edge near the middle on one side. There is some veneer missing on the bottom side of at least one foot (which I will color in before packing and sending the tray).
