And the Rattan has been re-shellacked & a couple of spots on the chairs diamond back have been repaired but our experienced staff did such an excellent job we can’t find the repair! Marvelous vintage Coastal Island Style Rattan glass top dining or game table & 4 matching chairs, a set. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the cushions have all been professionally cleaned but still retain stains so will need recovered. And the Rattan has been re-shellacked & a couple of spots on the chairs diamond back have been repaired but our experienced staff did such an excellent job we can’t find the repair! Can Rattan EVER be wrong? We think NOT!!! Especially if you are talking about an incredible Rattan dining or game table with a glass top AND 4 matching chairs!!! This set is by P.T. Fendi Mungil an Indonesian manufacturing company that was established in 1988. The chairs are comprised of rattan frames with inverted U shaped legs, spiral arms, balloon seat backs bearing a beautiful diamond weave design, and the seats hold off-white canvas fabric upholstered seat cushions. This magnificent set is all handmade and each chair varies slightly with unique characteristics such as color, bends, etc. inherent of the natural rattan composition. The base of the table is composed of inverted u shaped rattan legs, a smaller rattan center circle with the same diamond weave design, and a large bent rattan circle holds the “squircle” shaped glass top. It’s just beautiful! The set is Coastal in style but it also has some Asian, tropical, Island and organic modern flair. This fabulous set is ready to use in your kitchen, breakfast nook, game room, sunroom, enclosed porch, lanai, or pool house. The perfect place to sit and play a game of cards or enjoy barbeque and beverages with family and friends. If LOVING this dining set is wrong… we don’t want to be right!! We just adore this Rattan seating set and know that you must too, now you just need to make it YOURS!!
