They are metal and able to do the job also. The set of eight includes four 11 inch ones and four 6 inch ones. The larger one has three flowers interspersed in nine leaves. The smaller ones have six leaves with a flower in between. All are mounted on a heavy metal rod that extends behind the flowers & leaves, curves into a hook with two drilled holes for mounting on the wall. The hook is about 3 inches by 3 inches. They have been painted a matte black but I can imagine them in gold in a formal room. Or maybe in an outrageous Hibiscus pink or green on your porch. They are unique, timeless and lovely. less
