Which no … Read more This ceramic plaque in set into a pewter plate made for the 1876-1976 celebration of the Bell System. Which no longer exists. It is one of the “The Centennial Plate Series Commemorating 100 Years of Service to Mankind”. On the front ceramic plaque is a picture of a man and a device with the caption “Liquid Telephone”, and below that, in script, the slogan “One Bell System. It Works.” On the back written in raised pewter letters are the name of the Plate series, the centennial celebration seal and the maker’s information. It was made in Canton, Ohio by the Franklin Co.
