This Beaver State label was reserved for use only on their in-line classic Trade Blankets and shawls. The Beaver State originated in 1915 and pays tribute to the history of the fur trade of the Northwest and the connection to the Trade Blankets.
The name originated when Pendleton Robes/blankets and shawls were sold to the Walla Walla, Cayuse and Umatilla tribes in the vicinity of the Pendleton mill on the Columbia plateau.
