Crafted in Paris, France circa 1900, the tulip wood case with inlaid brass decor, has black painted edges and a hand painted floral motif in the center. The lever-cranked, glass-enclosed brass mechanism plays four songs, including "Las Colegialas", "Ignora", "Les Cloches de Corneville and "Tout a La Joie". The traditional music instrument is in wonderful working condition and has a nice patinated finish throughout the exterior. Key included. Signed on the bottom for further authentication and provenance: "Au Petit Saint Thomas, Paris".
