A 1981 abstract mixed media painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work features a pink gouache background punctuated by bright neon colored pencil designs outlined by graphite. A large graphite shape is near the top of the composition. Unframed, the painting is signed and dated to the lower right.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
