Raku pottery is taken out of the kiln while still hot and glowing and then covered in a material starving the glaze of oxygen and producing vivid colors and textures. Evans spent most of his career producing raku pottery in his studio in California. He later moved to metal sculptures making his ceramic pieces collectible. less
