This New England-style solid maple wood frame stool offers outstanding craftsmanship with its mortise and tenon joinery. The lovely Sheraton-inspired ring turned legs and bobbin turned cross stretchers support a diagonal cross pattern fiber rush seat which is in perfect order with minimal wear. Made sometime in the mid 20th-century (1950s), it’s a piece that will complement most any style and any space. It measures 16” x 13½” x 14” W/D/H; seat 15¼” x 13¼” W/D; seat-to-floor 13½”; weight 4 lbs. 3 oz. Crafted from solid maple wood using mortise and tenon joinery; fiber rush seat in a naturally aged tan hue; maple wood grain shows wonderfully under the lacquer finish. In excellent condition with minimal wear. There is no makers mark to be found. Stools, for me, have always been somewhat of an accessory piece around our home; you can never have too many. A good stool fits into any space, small or large and can be moved around from room-to-room, space-to-space, to meet the need of the moment, whether it been seating or décor. With all that said, this beauty will look marvelous wherever placed!
