Resembling a ship's galley rail, this is a classic Teak wood "Captain's" (and also referred to as a Butler's) tray designed by Jens H Quistgaard for Dansk International and made in Thailand circa the early to mid 1970s.

There are no discernible chips, cracks, or deep scratches (see photos), however, there are some minor scuffs - typical, normal for its intended purpose. It has been thoroughly cleaned, gently sanded, and revived with non-toxic oil and beeswax to nourish and preserve the wood. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
