Captivating and grand sculpture that was recast from the original design in the mid-late 20th century. The original work is "Lady with Wheat" by French sculptor, Auguste Moreau who lived from 1834 to 1917. This sensational piece is over 3 feet tall and weighs 86 pounds. It features gorgeous green verdigris on the lady's dress and on the wheat. Under her feet is the inscription ‘Reine des Pres par Aug. Moreau,’ and Moreau's signature can be seen on the side just below where the dress falls. The bronze sits on a solid green marble base that accents the verdigris, and it is lined with felt on the underside. Incredible details in the every part of the sculpture are sure to enchant any viewer.
