This Astrid Sylwan Abstract lithograph print Sweden museum poster " As We Floated Away " 2008, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithograph print museum poster is published by The Moderna Museet Modern Art Museum in Stockholm, printed in Sweden in 2018. It features an original Abstract artwork created by Sylwan in 2008 titled " As We Floated Away ".
Astrid Sylwan ( B. 1970 ) the Swedish born Abstract artist has quickly taken position as one of Sweden's most prominent painters. The figurative very seldom enters Sylwan's world. It is the color that plays the main part, not only color as shade, but also as physical presence. Sylwan uses all the physical characteristics of color when she applies it to the canvas with broad brushes, color knives or scrappers, or pours it over the canvas in pools and lets it run across the surface in large drops.
Her invited collaboration designs for Marimekko were award winning. Artworks by Sylwan are included in the collections of many prestigious museums including The Moderna Museet, and The Malmo Museum Sweden.
