This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
Goldtone round inset "coin" Greek head with the name Dionysus written on it, brooch with security clasp. Marked "NAPIER©." Measures: 1 1/8 inches across. Excellent condition. The matching necklace is shown on pg. 535 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book, "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry." Dates to 1980.
