This vintage art book contains the collected drawings of Aubrey Beardsley the noted English illustrator and author. A leading figure in the Aesthetic Movement and influential in the development Art Nouveau style and modern forms, Beardsley's black ink drawings are by turns beautiful, grotesque, and erotic in nature.
Published in 1967 and with an introduction by Arthur Symons, the vintage art book has its original dust jacket which shows wear. You may want to display the book without the jacket as the decorative hardcover is adorned with Breadsley's black peacocks on a gray background with a contrasting white spine.
