This Robert Rauschenberg rare vintage 1980 limited edition lithograph print " Louisiana " Denmark exhibition poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. This is an outstanding print of a beautiful captivating original artwork. It is published by The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Denmark, printed in an unnumbered limited edition of 500 by Permild & Rosengreen in 1980 in Denmark on the occasion of the exhibition.
Robert Rauschenberg ( 1925 - 2008 ) the American born artist is recognized as one of The 20th Century's most influential and prolific artists. He is credited with binding the gap between the movements of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. A pioneer of the " Transfer Drawing " process, he experimented in technologically sophisticated combinations of photographs and drawings.
Rauschenberg is highly regarded as a Modern Master of mixed media and collage. The works are layered and transcend the two dimensional format for the viewer. Art works by Rauschenberg are included in the permanent collections of more than 70 of the worlds most prestigious museums.
