Lovely c. 1870s Danish solid pine king-sized headboard with a sweet history with us. We imported this one in the 1980s and sold them when they were a pair of twin-sized bed to a pair of 5 year old twin girls. They kept them10 years and their dad traded them in to us for a pair of queen beds as they's outgrown these twins.
We just paired the 2 headboards together (as we've done for 40 years) and made a wonderful King-sized headboard for the nest 100+ years. Mount this one to your own metal bedframe or better, directly to the wall. Solid and heavy! less
