The fixture features a single bulb … more A wonderful whimsical solid carved stained dark wood Regency style hot air balloon chandelier.
The fixture features a single bulb in the top center of the fixture. The entire fixture is made of solid wood with beautiful carvings all around. the bulb is easily accessible with a small opening on the wire on the side of the balloon. It appears as though the light was modified at some point in time where the top metal cap was screwed to the wood fixture. It's perfectly fine and secure for usage and of course will not be seen when hardwired and hung.
The stain is slightly darker than the photographs because of the light or flash. The true color is best depicted in the first picture.
This is a pretty large balloon so please view measurements. If it's too tall for your ceiling height the bottom hanging basket can be shortened a bit with the side chains.
It's a wonderful fixture for a child or babies room and adds such a fun touch of whimsy to any bedroom or play room.. less
