Here is a hard to find footstool or ottoman that was designed by Maurizio Tempestini and made by Salterini and matches the clamshell or orange slice pieces, it is unsigned but has all the characteristics. This stool is painted a dark green, which I don't think is the original finish, it has chipped off in many spots and there is rust showing through some of the spots.
The stool measures 21.5 inches wide from point to point, 17 inches deep in the middle, 22 inches high to the top of the points and 15.5 inches high to the lowest point of the seat. The base measures 17.5 inches wide and 15.5 deep.
