Enchanting pair of art deco/ neoclassical style vases made in the early 20th century by Joseph Friedman. Undersides are impressed with the maker's mark and "New York." Each vase features repeating pattern of a flower stem and an ornate swag pattern around the top. The pieces were lacquered or gilded with gold and some of this has been lost with time, leaving a unique pattern of slightly varying gold finishes. Perfect for holding dried or fresh flowers. Will bring brilliant symmetry to any shelf, table or mantle.
