There are a couple of dings and scratches, please see enlarged close up photos. There is one dark stain on top which is approximately 1 to 1.5 inches across. Various stains in the drawers, but NO musty odors. Also, some spots of wrinkled varnish. The very bottom of the bottom drawer has a split in it. The wheels are missing but the original steel stem sleeves are intact, which take half inch wide caster stems. Still a great old quarter sawn oak chest of drawers with lots of life left in it. less

Here we have a gorgeous Antique Eastlake style oak two over two dresser. It could be used as a server in the dining room for storing platters and flatware etc. One key works all of the locks. All original hardware is present. The decorative back plates are brass and the bail handles are iron. One top drawer has a divider. All drawers are dovetailed.
Beautiful quarter sawn solid oak, no veneer. I believe this piece has been refinished at some point long ago. There are a couple of dings and scratches, nothing too awful, but please examine enlarged photos. There is one dark stain on top which is approximately 1 by 1.5 inches across. Various stains in the drawers, but NO musty odors and some wrinkled varnish spots here and there. The very bottom of the bottom drawer has a split in it. Also, the wheels are missing but the original steel stem sleeves are intact, they take half inch wide caster stems.
No maker's mark found, but I believe it was made in America. Very solid construction, all drawers slide easily and the drawer stops are present. Really nice condition for such an old piece...thanks for looking!!! less
