A neoclassical design with ornate decoration of scroll vines, acanthus leaves, musical musette, bouquet ribbons and emblems . Made of gilt bronze metal ormolu, aged patina over time, circa 1900s. Divided into three sides, the ends fold in, adjustable hinged design, made with solid metal perforated fire screen with regency clover repeat pattern throughout. Shapely footed base legs.
Shows signs of heavy use with bronzed patina and metal oxidation within. Use for fireplace, a fire spark screen that is fully functional for use and decoration. May need to be collapsed for shipping purposes, dependent on destination. less
