This early 20th century Zhuang silk brocade baby carrier is a testament to the enduring artistry of the Zhuang people, the largest ethnic minority in China. Primarily residing in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Zhuang people are renowned for their vibrant culture expressed through textiles, music, and dance. This baby carrier, hand-woven on a traditional backstrap loom, showcases their exquisite craftsmanship.
